Two Altered Journals...

Both of my older girls needed a regular composition book for school.  So, of course we bought the regular black and white ones when that were on sale at Target and since they are MY daughters (ha-ha), they asked if they were allowed to cover them.  To our delight, both of their teachers said that they could.  They are both no longer in the "pink and glittery" stage.  I told them to go through my paper stash to see what caught their eye.  They both liked the DCWV paper stack called Immortal Love.  I guess it would be an understatement to say that it is Twilight inspired.  Anyway, these are the books after I got done with the paper, mod podge, ribbon, etc. =)  Easy peasy and cheap.  Both girls were happy.

GMG Fall 2011 Study on 1 John

I am so excited to be joining a group of ladies for an on-line Bible study.  I read about the blog, Good Morning Girls, and was interested in the 3 month study that they do.  Then I read that an on-line friend was interested in making a group of girls to follow the study together.  Yay!  Accountability. haha.  We will be studying the book of 1 John.
I decided to alter a composition notebook that I would use just for this study.  I can not wait to fill it up.
Of course, I went with my favorite color scheme... FALL colors. =)   I will be putting a little post here daily (I hope) sharing what I got out of the study for that day.  Head on over to the link if you want - it's not too late to join!

Altered Composition Journals

I had a few of those black and white composition books left over from a previous project, so I decided to alter them to make some fun notebooks/journals.
