I've enjoyed these Musical Musings that prompt me in my art journal. I've been away from really art journaling for about 3 weeks and I thought I was going to lose it if I didn't get some gesso on my fingers soon!
This prompt really worked for me. There are so many times that I just want to say, "Really??!" I'm no dummy, so quit treating me like one. This girl is going to speak up - and if I CHOOSE not to speak up, it's not because you're fooling me...I just am not going to waste my energy on it. I also can not let my own mind tell me things that are not true. If you have a dream - go after it! If you are scared to try something - get over it.
